Winter Break Plans

It's Finals Week here at South! It's my first one, and although I am a little nervous about my first round of college finals, I'm really looking forward to finishing a great first semester and starting winter break.
I'm so excited for the holiday season at home. I'm really looking forward to helping my family decorate the tree (even though they are a bit late!). Every year, my sister and cousins go to my grandma's house to make cookies and build a gingerbread house. I might be a little old for that now, but the cookies are SO good I can't resist. There's nothing better than a grandma's baking.
Another Christmas festivity I'm excited about is the light show. We go to New Orleans to see all the Christmas lights in City Park. It is a tradition for my whole family- grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, parents, siblings, and all. It's always so much fun and a great way to catch up with my family.
Besides our Christmas traditions, I'll be able to relax and hang out with my friends from home. That's one of my main plans this break. I'll be able to catch up on all their new college experiences and make some memories at home. To relax, I am especially excited to binge-watch Netflix and drink hot cocoa. I'm also VERY excited to sleep in a lot. This break is going to be full of fun and relaxation. I can't wait!!
